VIRUS - Reaper's World - Updated Dec 24, 2007R E A P E R ' S W O R L D Reaper's World is a killer. Everyone who has landed on it, got to close, or sometimes even tried to comunicate with to planet has died. It is complete high tech society without one thing, people. Computers handled everthing, the race that built this planet did not want for anything. They worked at what they wanted, or did nothing at all. It was a paradise. It could be again, except for one thing. A control program, code name 'Reaper', decided that people were just to much trouble. It decided their fate, and in just days it killed off the entire population. For the last hundred years this prize has been killing anyone who trys to obtain it. All direct attacks have failed. Then a year ago, a programmer found a backdoor into the system. It was apparently a crude diagnostic program that some long forgotten programer left in the system. The Reaper knows it is there, but for some reason is unable to shut down the diagnostic port. We can inject programs into this diagnostic buffer. But when we do, the Reaper Program launchs a nasty virus to kill our programs. If we can kill this virus, we can attack the Reaper Program and take over the system. The Reaper Virus has been extracted and a copy of it and a diagnostic simulator has been created to test possible attack programs. Interested programmers will find a downloadable Virus Compiler to generate attack programs and a Diagnostic Simulator with the current Reaper Virus. Included is all the documentation on the diagnostic language. By the way the Diagnost Simulator is full up IDE. It contains a compiler and source level debugger.
